Summer Reading Club 2008

Catch The Reading Bug!

Are you curious about creepy crawly critters?

Want to learn more about ants, beetles, grasshoppers and other cool bugs?

Better watch where you step!

There will be bugs (some real and some fake!) everywhere this summer at the Copiague Library
 - in programs, on the walls, the ceilings and the floors!

Children will have to complete 30 minutes of reading a day and mark it on a calendar that they will receive when they sign up.

Once they have completed five days of reading and marked it on their calendars,
they come in to have their calendars checked off by a staff member and receive a prize.

Children may read whatever they like.

The prizes will start out smaller and get more fabulous as the summer progresses.

The Kick-off Party will be Saturday, June 28.

Drop in anytime between 12:00 - 4:00 PM for fun, prizes and lots of entertainment.

We'll end the summer with a Grand Finale Party on Friday, August 22.

You will need to read at least thirty days to be invited to our Grand Finale!

Hours Mon-Fri 10AM-9PM, Sat 9AM-5PM Sundays 12 Noon - 5PM
