"The Literacy Builder" is a newsletter that provides helpful articles for both ESOL Learners and Tutors.   Each newsletter is in Adobe's PDF format and is about 1-2MB in size.  The PDF Reader program is required to read this format and is available for free from Adobe. The newletter is currently being published on a quarterly basis.

EDITOR'S MESSAGE

I have been writing this tutorial for over six years. During this time, I have been receiving almost no support from my readers in the form of topic suggestions, lesson submissions from tutors, or written stories from learners. Basically feedback has been almost non-existent. I have been doing this with the interest of helping people teach and learn English, whether they are improving their native English reading and writing skills or learning English as a second language. I have therefore decided to discontinue this publication at the end of 2007, unless this endeavor becomes interactive. I do not now seek, nor did I ever seek payment. I have asked regularly for readers' submissions and comments. Often tutors said they would have their learners write articles, but none would be forthcoming.

If you wish to have me continue this project,
send suggestions, articles, and questions to me at:
